MOBE Overview
June 4, 2018, The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
- Files a civil lawsuit against MOBE, and its top associates [ Matt Lloyd, Russell W. Whitney Jr. And Susan Zanghi].
- Issues a Temporary Restraining order against MOBE. This move sees MOBEs assets frozen, Websites shut down, and social media groups like Facebook groups, archived.
Reason? MOBE had been operating a fraudulent business since 2011!
MOBE was positioned as a High Ticket Affiliate Marketing (HTAM) company, meaning that its affiliates earned unusually high commissions (up to 90%)! Their entry point was the 21 Step system a.k.a. My Top Tier Business (MTTB) a.k.a WIFI Millionaire.
MOBE claimed that through their 21- step proven system priced at only $49, they would show you how to promote high ticket products and earn huge commissions. They promised to refund your $49 if you decided that their program wasn’t for you! quite luring, wasn’t it?
THE VERY UGLY
MOBE HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN AND IT IS UNCERTAIN WHETHER PEOPLE WILL EVER BE REFUNDED THEIR MONIES.
- Thousands of people have lost massive amounts of money
- A lot of people have suffered tremendous emotional distress as a result of MOBE.
- People have lost their life savings
- others have lost their homes
- Severely damaged family relations
Who was MOBE for?
MOBE was highly touted for anyone who wanted to work from home and earn a lot of money. It was open to all age categories. No prior online marketing experience was required.
You don’t have to be computer savvy to be successful with MOBE. It is a “Done for you” system. All that you needed to do was drive high-quality traffic in front of MOBE top tier products.
However, the reality was different. After purchasing the 21 Steps, you would be bombarded with lots of upsells persuading you to upgrade to more expensive membership categories in order to be able to earn big commissions.
Yet, to be honest, the MOBE success rate had been terribly low. They kept recycling old “Success stories”! And MOBE was for people who took absolutely no shame luring innocent citizens to spend their hard earned money hoping to reap big from MOBE.

MOBE Tools & Training
When they were not busy upselling you, their training was fairly ok. With the initial $49 joining fee they gave you Matt’s book called “Limitless”. Mine was sent by FedEx at no extra cost to me! Kudos for that Matt!
MOBE Support
They had a good support system. Matt used to have the “Ask Matt Lloyd” sessions where he answered questions. Even had Facebook groups for their different levels of membership.
MOBE PrIcing
The initial Luring price for entry into MOBE was $49 once-off, to unlock the 21step program. They assigned a business coach who guided you through the 21 steps.
Somewhere, after a few steps, the sales pitches begin. You must upgrade to their masterclasses/masterminds to be able to earn commissions for those levels.
If you fail to upgrade, you won’t be allowed to proceed and finish all the 21 steps! Your coach goes MIA on you!! If you are lucky and your coach is lenient to let you complete the steps, then you won’t have access to affiliate products.
You are not able to promote anything. They block your back office. Your affiliate link becomes useless!
My Final Opinion about MOBE
I fell for it!
That little voice that warns us kept whispering to me “If you could barely afford the $49 joining fee, where will you get $2500 to buy Silver membership?” but I quickly silenced it.
We got brainwashed so bad to believing that we needed to go get loans to ‘invest’ in MOBE.
I am relieved that MOBE was finally brought to book.
I joined MOBE with $49, and I was so excited that I would finally be able to make money of my own and not burden my husband. I studied hard, went quickly through the 21 steps.
After completing my 21 Step Training, I was bombarded with upsells and got discouraged.
I remember informing my “business coach” that I couldn’t afford a $2500 upgrade and him telling me to be “resourceful”…
I looked for money, asked my husband. He promised but changed his mind, saying that MOBE was a scam! His words hurt me, how dare he say something so legit, so promising was a scam?
I felt betrayed. That drained our relationship even further. I was defiant and told him I was gonna do MOBE with or without his help. He didn’t know much about MOBE but he was right. And I escaped narrowly!
MY VERDICT:

A SHAMELESS, FRAUDULENT SCHEME WHICH DESTROYED PEOPLES LIVES AND DAMAGED RELATIONSHIPS!
LIFE MUST GO ON AFTER MOBE…
After the horrible experience, I got scared and wasn’t sure who to trust because everything in MOBE seemed so above board. I am a very skeptical person who analyzes situations for some time before I could part with my money. But with MOBE it was different.
Anyway, I have moved on and discovered Wealthy affiliate which is a complete opposite of MOBE.
Wealthy Affiliate is very affordable yet they provide you with all the tools and resources you need to build a successful online business.
At just $49 per month and even less, if you take advantage of their Yearly Discount, you get access to the whole system. There is also the $299 Yearly Black Friday Offer.
What’s great is that you get grandfathered into that amount. Meaning that you will continue to pay the discounted amount even if Wealthy Affiliate decided to increase their subscription fees in the future.
No upsells, and their system is absolutely amazing. They have FREE and Premium membership categories! Wealthy Affiliate is perhaps the best online marketing company out there. Try it today and see for yourself!
